Bryant Wright is the Founder and Chairman of Right From The Heart Ministries and Senior Pastor of the 7,600 plus member Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in northwest metro Atlanta. A successful businessman before answering God’s call to ministry, Bryant is a respected Bible teacher, pastor, husband, father and community leader. Most recently, on June 16, 2010, he was elected as President of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Using secular and Christian radio, television, print media and the internet, Bryant provides challenging, inspirational and insightful messages to encourage people in this hard-charging world in which we live. Bryant has also authored four books, One Minute of Your Time, Another Minute of Your Time, One Minute of Your Day, and most recently, Seeds of Turmoil (Thomas Nelson Publishers).

A native of Atlanta, Bryant and his wife, Anne reside in Marietta, Georgia. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina in 1974, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Seminary in 1980, and an honorary doctorate in 2007 from SEFOVAN, a seminary in Madrid, Spain. They have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and two precious granddaughters and an awesome grandson!
